Hoogmartens started out in 1963 as a road maintenance contractor. Today it has grown into an all-rounder in the field of infrastructure works. According to Hoogmartens, the strength of a successful project is increasingly the combination of different expertise and smooth project follow-up. But that also means that more and more people have to work together internally and externally and that different types of information have to be combined.

A few years ago, Hoogmartens opted for a new ERP system. In addition, it has various software packages for payroll administration, planning, logistics & transport and works with a document management system. All these applications are not connected with each other and use different file formats. This creates a lot of manual work, sometimes incorrect conversions occur and employees are overwhelmed with data. They posed this question to their (and our) partner SoftwareConnector.
When a new truck is purchased, an order form must be created for this. But this truck must also be scheduled and linked to the track & trace system. Where this was previously entered manually three times in each separate software package, with SoftwareConnector this is all done automatically. All data relating to the creation of projects, drawing up quotations, scheduling employees or subcontractors, monitoring projects and invoicing is now integrated and automated.
